Light Muting Controls
 Description:
The Mute-Out Controller is a control reliable system with self
checking and relay monitoring that was designed to interface safety
lights to brake presses. The safety lights will remain active
until the ram reaches 1/4" (6.35mm) above the pinch point.
At that point it will mute the safety lights making forming easy.
The Stroke-Stop-Mute-Controller (SSMC-1000)
Controller has a pinch point stop or "select-o-stop"
as a standard option that is especially good for the forming of
small parts. When the ram reaches the 1/4" (6.35mm) point,
it will automatically stop the ram and the operator will be able
to place the part in the die and cycle the foot switch again.
The SSMC-1000 Controller will interface
with Up or Down Acting Hydraulic Brake Presses. The signals can
be obtained directly from the panel or a linear cam kit can be
installed. It also will interface with brakes retrofitted with
back-gauges with single or dual access.
The SSMC-1000 can be purchased as
a stand alone control in a NEMA 12 enclosure or panel mount.
